Pitt Psychedelics and Christianity Project (Pitt PsyX)

Have you had a Psychedelic Experience that reminds you of Christianity in some way? Are you at least 18 years of age? Please participate in our flagship study, “Christian Psychedelic Experiences!”

Survey

The purpose of the study is to learn the ways people have a psychedelic experience that reminds them of something in Christianity, regardless of how they characterize Christianity and regardless of whether they identify as Christian.

We are asking for you to participate by completing our online survey, which should take 15-30 minutes. You don’t have to be Christian to qualify—perhaps your psychedelic experience reminds you of a Christian story or had some Christian component (e.g., Jesus, angels/demons).

We will ask you questions about your experience. You do not need to provide any information that might identify you, though you may choose to provide contact information if you are willing to be contacted for follow-up questions. There are no direct benefits to you and few foreseeable risks, although breach of confidentiality is possible. To address this, you can choose not to provide any contact information, and you are free not to answer any question in the survey that makes you uncomfortable. Your participation is voluntary, and you may choose to end your participation at any time without penalty.

If you have questions, please submit them via the form on our contact page.
